Doctor Stephen Strange is a gifted but arrogant surgeon whose life is changed in an instant. Following a horrific car crash, Stephen is unable to use his hands for the simplest tasks. He travels to Kathmandu, hoping desperately that rumours of a mystical city called Kamar Taj are true, and he can find someone there to heal him. Down to his last dollar, Strange stumbles upon the city that will hurtle him down a path to dimensions he cannot comprehend and the very real world of magic. But in order to learn, he has to forget everything he thinks he knows.
